Step Inside My Dream World: The House on Kodi Street Series

The journey through The House on Kodi Street has only just begun, yet already the dreamscapes are pulling us deeper into a world of mystery, symbolism, and haunting imagery.

I’ve released the first four episodes, each one building layer by layer upon the strange atmosphere of Kodi Street. From the eerie fountain and unsettling gatherings to strange discoveries inside furniture stores and forgotten pages tucked away, every scene feels like a dream you can’t quite wake up from—but also can’t stop exploring.

If you’ve watched Episodes 1 and 2, you’ve already felt the weight of the dreamlike shifts between comfort and unease. But before we move into Episode 5, I want to make sure you’ve experienced Episodes 3 (The Junkyard Bride) and 4 (The Forgotten Pages). These two chapters introduce some of the most revealing dream sequences yet—where innocence clashes with betrayal, objects take on unexpected power, and symbols emerge that beg to be understood.

Why Episode 5 Will Be Different

Episode 5 will pause the unfolding narrative to step into the role of interpreter. Dreams speak in symbols, and The House on Kodi Street is filled with them. From the woman in the white gown to the objects hidden in drawers, from fountains that flow with strange waters to the very house itself—each carries meaning worth exploring.

In this upcoming episode, I’ll break down the dream symbols and discuss what they might reveal, both in the context of the story and in the universal language of dreams. Think of it as stepping behind the curtain, looking at not just what happens, but why it happens and what it could be trying to say.

Catch Up Before the Discussion

If you haven’t yet seen Episodes 3 and 4, now is the time. Episode 5 will weave together the threads of the story and highlight the dream meanings in ways that connect the first four episodes. Without the experience of the unfolding mystery, you’ll miss the hidden layers that make Kodi Street so powerful.

So, before the next release, grab some time to sit with Episodes 3 and 4. Let the imagery soak in. Notice what details catch your attention. Ask yourself: If this were my dream, what would it mean?

Stay tuned for Episode 5, where the dream symbols of Kodi Street finally begin to speak.

The House on Kodi Street (My Dream Story)

"The House on Kodi Street"
By Deedee Jebrail

The house on Kodi Street had been vacant for years—its frame decaying, paint peeling, windows always closed. Then, almost overnight, it was reborn. New paint, glowing windows, stylish furniture that didn’t match the age of the place. It was like someone had dressed a ghost in silk and perfume.

A woman moved in. Elegant. Effortless. The type of person who makes old spaces look intentional. She was standing on the newly swept porch when I arrived with my son and a young blonde girl—. My son clutched his sketchpad, quiet as always. The blonde girl, giggling and curious, ran ahead of us, already exploring the creaky corners of the house.

Inside, we sat and sipped tea from delicate porcelain cups that didn’t match. I found myself talking about Kodi, a friend who used to live here. “I really liked her,” I told the woman, though my voice felt far away. “There was something about her—like the house loved her.”

The woman nodded, a knowing glint in her eye. “This place remembers people,” she said softly.

Then we noticed the girl was gone.

Panic flickered in my chest. I stood abruptly. “I have to find her,” I said. “She wouldn’t just wander off.” We searched every room, but it was the sound of the toilet flushing that caught our ears. The bathroom door creaked open.

She stepped out—barefoot, shaking. Not the same girl. Her skin was grey-blue, lips pale, cheeks sunken like something had drained the life out of her in a matter of minutes. Her bright hair clung to her face, and her eyes were hollow. I gasped, hand to my mouth.

“What happened to you?” I whispered. “Why is there… blood?”

We looked back. The water had overflowed. Not from the toilet—but from a stone fountain in the hallway I hadn’t noticed before. It was old, carved into the wall, with dark water that pulsed like a heartbeat. A statue of Ganesha loomed at the end of the basin. Water spilled from its trunk, stained deep red.

The woman was calm. “She found the fountain,” she said. “Some children do.”

I wrapped the girl in my arms. She trembled like something had followed her back from wherever she’d gone.

“She never wants to leave now,” I told the woman. “Even before this, she was drawn here.”

My son stood near the hallway, his sketchpad now discarded. He was quietly peeling photos from an old family album we found on the bookshelf—removing faces carefully, methodically.

“He does that when people die,” I murmured, watching him. Then, almost without thinking, I asked, “Will you do that when I die?”

He didn’t answer. Just kept peeling.

From the far room, Katy appeared—my old friend. Her sister behind her, silent and pale, like a faded memory that had walked back into the light. They didn't speak. Just looked toward the hallway.

The woman turned to the window. The view was breathtaking—like we were no longer in a city but somewhere above it all, watching from another realm. She sighed, “It really is so nice here.”

Then, quieter, she added, “Though some say it’s haunted.”

Dream Interpretation 101: Tips for Understanding Your Dreams

Dreams are more than just stories your brain tells you while you sleep—they’re messages from your subconscious mind. Whether you're dreaming about flying, losing teeth, or being chased, these symbols hold valuable insights into your emotions, desires, and unresolved thoughts.
Here are some simple and powerful tips to help you begin interpreting your dreams with confidence and curiosity:

1. Write Your Dream Down Immediately

Your dream can fade within minutes of waking, so keep a journal or voice recorder by your bed. Even if it’s just fragments, write down everything you remember—the setting, emotions, colors, people, or any odd symbols.
Tip: Don’t worry about grammar or structure—just capture the raw material.

2. Focus on How You Felt

Emotions are often more important than events in a dream. Ask yourself:
  • Was I scared, excited, confused, peaceful?
  • Did those emotions remind me of something in my waking life?
Your feelings are often the bridge between the dream and your real-world experiences.

3. Look at Symbols as Personal, Not Universal

While some symbols (like water or flying) have common meanings, it’s important to consider your own associations first.
For example:
  • A dog might represent loyalty to one person and fear to another.
  • A school might mean learning, anxiety, or a desire to be seen.
Ask: “What does this symbol mean to me?”

4. Break the Dream Into Scenes

Treat your dream like a mini-movie:
  • What happened first, second, and last?
  • Where did the scene change?
  • Did the mood shift at any point?
This can help you spot patterns and themes that might reflect different parts of your life or mindset.

5. Ask Yourself What Part of You Each Character Represents

Everyone in your dream could represent a part of you—your inner child, your ambition, your anxiety, your confidence.
If someone is behaving strangely or confronting you, ask:
  • “What part of myself does this person remind me of?”
  • “Is there a side of me I’ve been ignoring or avoiding?”

6. Don’t Rush to Interpret—Let It Breathe

Sometimes the message of a dream becomes clearer hours or even days later. Sit with it. Revisit your notes. Often, your waking mind will “click” with the meaning when the time is right.

7. Ask Before Bed, Reflect in the Morning

Set an intention before sleep:
“Show me what I need to see.” “Help me understand this part of my life.”
Dreams often rise to the challenge when we ask with sincerity and openness.

Still Need Help?

Sometimes dreams are layered or deeply symbolic, and it can be hard to make sense of them on your own. If you're feeling stuck or would like some deeper insight, you can request a personalized dream interpretation session with me.
Let’s explore what your dream is trying to tell you—together.

Setting dream intentions during the full moon

Wow it has been a long time since I have posted! Not sure what happened but I am here now and wanted to share some ideas for Dream Intention setting for a full moon.

Setting dream intentions during the full moon can be a powerful way to tap into heightened energy for spiritual growth and self-discovery. Here are five dream intentions you can set:

1. Clarity on Life Path:
   - "I intend to receive guidance through my dreams on my true life purpose and the next steps I should take."

2. Healing Old Wounds:
   - "I set the intention to dream of releasing past emotional trauma or unresolved pain and allow healing energy to flow into my subconscious."

3. Connecting with Spirit Guides:
   - "I intend to connect with my spirit guides or ancestors in my dreams to receive wisdom, protection, or messages for my journey."

4. Manifesting Abundance:
   - "I set the intention to dream of aligning my energy with abundance, attracting prosperity and opportunities into my waking life."

5. Lucid Dreaming for Self-Discovery:
   - "I intend to become lucid in my dreams and explore my subconscious, discovering hidden aspects of myself that need attention or growth."

These intentions can help align your dream state with the transformative energy of the full moon, opening pathways to personal insight and spiritual development.

Stay tuned I have some great things coming!

My Dream and Interpretation about Death

 Dream journal entry: My Dream

In the heart of the bustling city, I found solace in the cozy embrace of a coffee shop where laughter and conversation filled the air like the comforting aroma of freshly brewed coffee. My friend awaited me in a booth, surrounded by the warmth of a brick wall and the inviting wooden seats with a touch of mystery in their black vinyl or leather covering. The soft coffee shop lighting created a soothing atmosphere.

As we exchanged greetings, I shared an unexpected revelation with my friend—I had given away my Ouija board to a thrift shop, a place that also doubled as a coffee haven. It felt liberating, a gesture of passing on something mysterious and perhaps a little unsettling to a new home.

My attention then shifted to a woman emerging from a door, donned in a grey sweatshirt with the tag still dangling. Strangely, I realized I owned the same shirt. A connection formed, however fleeting, as we prepared to depart. Yet, our exit was halted by the diligent waitress, who pointed out the tag held in place by a safety pin on the woman's ill-fitted sweatshirt.

Protesting the unfairness of the situation, I suddenly found myself submerged in waist-deep water just outside the coffee shop. The surroundings were dark, and confusion enveloped me as various objects floated by. In the distance, a man and a cat struggled to navigate the water, prompting me to realize that this was a treacherous path, where the lost journeyed to the city.

In a surreal twist, awareness dawned upon me—I was no longer alive. Somehow, I found myself confined to a coffin, having been dead for 16 days. As they prepared to exhume my body, a surge of relief washed over me at the prospect of fresh air. Yet, in a macabre twist, I pulled the covers over my decomposing face to shield myself from the scrutiny of the living.

The realization of my transformation unfolded, and I became engulfed in an unsettling void, unable to see or comprehend my surroundings. Fear crept in, but amidst the darkness, a subtle voice echoed—a whisper of healing and regeneration. In the silence, a journey began, transcending the boundaries of life and death, offering a chance for newfound understanding and tranquility in the infinite unknown.

So what does this mean?

Well some version of myself has died off and I am aware of it.  I have made a video with my dream and interpretation.
